Schedule a Team Build!
We will be building steel "Bridges" and testing them till they fail catastrophically. The gross weight of the bridge will be compared to the load at failure to produce a strength to weight ratio. The team to achieve the highest strength to weight ratio WINS! We call this the Kobayashi Maru class.

About the Event
Base cost is $ 90 per attendee, we can work with up to 40 people at a time. Please allow three to four hours for this activity.
We ask that all attendees wear hoodies and bring snacks and wear jeans, boots or cotton shoes, please no sneakers!Â
This exercise is conducted in an industrial environment.
This event can generally be scheduled on any weekday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Our schedule is very open during the week. We can typically accommodate any time and date Monday through Friday.
We provide everything required .
We  will briefly introduce welding and discuss safety. Then we will form up  into teams and design and build "Bridges" that will be tested under a  dynamic load until they fail.
In  this exercise, participants are asked to learn an entirely new skill  and implement it under unreasonable time constraints. They can then   compare their score against the scores achieved by other teams  operating under the same constraints.
This requires teams to identify and allocate newly developed skills on the fly, in a dynamic non-hierarchical context.
Successful teams identify and anticipate key problems and manage time and resources on the fly.
This  is a productively stressful exercise. Clients will face, and overcome,  slightly unnerving challenges in a totally new environment as a team.
The  weight of the bridge will be divided by the load it sustained to yield a  strength ratio which may be compared against the results achieved by  other competitors.
