We have had enjoyed very broad participation in this offering. We have worked with Godaddy, Amazon, Oculus, Microsoft, Facebook, Google, T-Mobile, Boston Consulting Group, and Adobe to name a few. Participating teams build a “bridge” of steel which is then loaded until it is crushed. The final score is determined by dividing the weight supported by the weight of the bridge itself. The team with the best ratio of weight supported / mass of bridge wins.

This exercise is intended to be fundamentally unfair. Participants are asked to develop and exercise entirely new skills and produce measurable results under unrealistic time constraints while working as a team. This never happens in the workplace.
