About the Event

No one can teach you this skill in a more accessible, entertaining, and useful way than we can.

Simply put, welding programs have an incentive to keep you inn class indefinately. We are providing a higher quality of focused instruction. We believe this is a better arrangement for our clientele.

Class is limited to four persons.

Until your brain learns to recognize an arc, you cannot "see" the arc well. TIG is much harder than mig. It is more technical and requires fine motor skills and patience. No one teaches TIG faster or better than we do. We will put you in front of both pulsed TIG and old school machines and show you everything you need to know. We will discuss and demonstrate the topic so thoroughly that your brain will grow a minimum of 2000 new dendrites. We will begin with steel and move you on to Aluminum far faster than is reasonable. TIG IS DIFFICULT. You need to show up rested, focused and prepared to be very patient. We ONLY offer this as a two part class. In teaching several thousand people how to TIG weld we have decided that two four hour sessions are the absolute dead minimum to get a useful understanding of this skill. By which we mean, refined and predictable results as opposed to "look it's kinda stuck together as far as I can tell". This is a serious metalworking class for clients that have a reasonable amount of experience with welding equipment.

This class is taught on two successive Sundays. If you cannot make both dates sequentially, please do not sign up. We do not reschedule.

We supply all required materials and consumables and equipment.

Please bring a snack, you will probably want caffine. You can wear pretty much anything on your feet, but boots are always best. Sneakers are a poor choice for a shop environment as they are flammable, and to some extent, so are people.
