MIG THREE your third welding class, $220

Class runs from 2pm-6pm

After taking MIG welding ONE and TWO,,  you can continue to learn In this class. You will receive plenty of individual attention as you continue to improve your welding skills and metallic confidence.

Class size is small, never more than ten people.

In the previous classes we covered welding safety, explained the tools, and practiced GMAW welding technique for butted joints in 1g, 2g,3g, and 2f  positions on 16 gauge hot rolled steel.

This series of classes provide access to techniques in a reasonable, progressive fashion to ensure you do not become frustrated or discouraged.

In MIG THREE, your third welding class:

• You will work with increasingly challenging weld profiles and applications, like welding thin material to thick, welding vertical up and overhead.
• You will  test your welds destructively.
• We will work with a variety of machines to increase your ability to confidently operate any machine you encounter
• We will learn how to adjust and troubleshoot your machine.
• We will do more out of position welding and practice on more challenging welding problems.
• You will improve on the strength and appearence of your work, we will show you a variety of ways to facilitate this.
• you will have opportunity to try some of the more exotic and difficult mig processes, like MIG on aluminum.
• Welding is a very deep subject, learned by doing. We will have time in class to answer your questions and particular interests.
• As always, we allow time to answer any particular questions you may have about the process or equipment. You are encouraged to bring in your own gear if you would like help understanding it or setting it up.
