Poofer class aka Pyro-a-gogo.

This event will schedule on January 18th from 3pm to 8pm and January 19th from 3pm to 8 pm. 

We will build one "poofer" per every five clients. We will discuss safe handling of propane with an eye toward some of the things to consider when handling and transporting and using propane in the desert. We will build "poofer"devices and demonstrate how to design, test and operate these systems. The bulk of the class will be spent hands-on. You will learn the basics of fabrication and how to construct conventional "Burningman type" poofers suitable for a stationary or mobile application. We may do a little mig welding. We advise taking the Mig welding intensive with us well prior to the event in order to allow you to get the most out of the class. If you take the Mig Welding intensive, you will be able to take our "Practice and Projects" class which is our informal ongoing welding and fabrication instruction class. 

This class is hands on, you will be performing every step of the process. 

We provide a safe space for everyone. 

Materials are inlcuded for the one poofer per five attendee ratio.

We can provide more materials for more poofers, at an additional cost. If you want to complete your own personal device, we will provide materials for you to do so at an additional cost  of $175.00

We ask that you purchase your spot in class by buying a ticket asap. We will refund your ticket in full up until December 30th 2019. Class is $180 plus  $175 for materials if you want to build your own personal poofer. 

You should buy your ticket early. You will be able to cancel your ticket for a full refund up until December 30th of 2019 a little over two weeks prior to the event. 

Hazardfactory is a professional instructional facility. We teach welding, metal casting, blacksmithing, cnc plasma, hot work, machining and all subjects related to industrial arts. We also offer team building exercises. We look forward to working with you.
