Beth Hammer and I are celebrating our birthdays. This is a private event. This will be mostly outdoors, please dress warmly. 

Feel free to bring food and drink. There is a grill, but few other amenities.  Best bet would be to bring whatever you need if you wish to cook. 

Beth will be excitied to whale on you with swords, and I will be delighted to swat fireballs at you, like Gandalf, but with better reflexes. 

We are considering ordering pizza, if you register this free "ticket" it will help us plan for how much pizza to have on hand.  

There are likely to be one or more pyro stunts, we will be parking cars strategically to ensure that we have some room to do large, probably dangerous things. 

The general idea is "sure, why not" with a few unfortunate caveats:

 If you wish to play FTB there are rules,  a formal process, and paperwork. You must abide by the rules to play. There is a pretty involved process if you want to join the league and play regularly.  I will provide you with that info if you want to try out for the League. 

We are going to set up a "knife and stuff" throwing range, bring your own weapons. 

If you smoke, please put all butts in ashtrays, not the fire. All recycling goes in the regular normal good old blue recycle bins, just like the ones you have at home. Glass and cans do not go in the fire. In a metal shop, there are many many buckets with various metals in them, these are NOT for garbage or cans, or bottles. 

We cannot allow photographs of FTB at this time. I know it's a bummer, you will be asked to erase photos and leave, this is serious and non negotiable. Playing, or observing the sport here in no way entitles players to appropriate or approximate or copy the sport elsewhere. The sport is legally protected. Please do not take this personally, this is one of many steps Rusty has to take to protect his intellectual property. Attendance indicates unconditional agreement.
