About the Event

This class is very similar to the make a flower class. It is a non-technical hands-on class, the emphasis is on producing art work. We have an absolutely random bunch of scrap material, and junk that you can cut up using a plasma cutter. This price includes materials to make a flower if you choose. We will have additional projects avaialable as kits for you to weld up. Price and availability will vary. Projects will be listed on the website prior to class. Clients can bring one child under the age of sixteen per ticket, as long as the adult has taken the mig welding intensive. This class is designed to give you some time to work on a sculptural project and learn techniques as a natural extension of producing work. Some fairly common sense caveats apply. Please have some kind of sketch or image or plan if you want to make a project from scratch. We do not provide cnc cutting as a part of this class. We can provide SCRAP, any other materials are provided at our sole option. You can bring whatever you like, WE MAY NOT WANT IT, and while offers to leave excess material may feel goodhearted, they may actually be quite impractical or undesirable from our perspective. We do not want to store projects or materials, please plan accordingly. Think in terms of making something smaller than a human torso, and relatively informal.
